The Library Under the Neem Tree
When a school loses its room, a retired teacher discovers that learning does not need four walls to continue.

The old classroom had a cracked roof, two missing windows, and a lock that no longer turned. For most people it was an unusable room. For Masterji, it was simply a library waiting for a better address.
He carried the books outside, arranged them in wooden crates, and placed a handwritten sign under the neem tree: Take one, return one, tell someone what you learned. At first, only three children arrived. By the end of the month, students, parents, and even shopkeepers had begun contributing books and stories.
The library became a quiet meeting place. Children read aloud to one another, older students helped younger ones, and the tree offered shade through the hottest afternoons. The school eventually repaired the classroom, but the outdoor library stayed open because the village had discovered something important: learning grows faster when it is shared.
